VPT seeks a Chief Development Officer who will help us build upon our past success and take our organization and our community focused development efforts to the next level. The CDO will have a unique opportunity to work with other key staff to build and develop this organization to realize its mission.

This will be an outstanding opportunity for a passionate, energetic, and entrepreneurial development professional to manage a diverse portfolio of individual donor, foundation, government and corporate prospects and create strategies to realize the giving potential of each.

The successful candidate will be an innovative, self-motivated leader and accomplished fundraising professional with an excellent track record of leadership in major gifts and/or capital campaigns and substantial experience leading and motivating the staff of a development program, with particular attention to strategic planning, revenue projection and budget management.
