Community Cinema

Community Cinema is a ground-breaking civic engagement initiative featuring free monthly screenings and community discussions of films from the acclaimed, award-winning series Independent Lens. Free and open to the public, our Community Cinema is held from September to June, focusing on timely social issues of the day. We work to bring this tremendous content directly into your communities, and build partnerships all across the state to enable all Vermonters to be part of the discussion. Highlights

Discussions follow all Community Cinema screenings. In Montpelier and Middlebury, the local cable access station partners with Vermont PBS to bring these discussions to those who wish to view them on-line.
