Hunger in Vermont
Vermont has been ranked as the sixth hungriest state in the country, with 12 percent of households struggling to get enough food on the table and one in 20 Vermonters labeled as "severely hungry." For instance, last year the Vermont Foodbank distributed nearly 7. 5 million pounds of food to as many as 86,000 Vermonters who requested charitable food assistance.Read More
