Screening and discussion of excerpts from Kathryn Hughes "Madeleine May Kunin: Political Pioneer." Former Governor Kunin will be participating in the discussion.

Vermont's first woman governor (1985-91), reflects on her ground-breaking political career and the work she continues to do. After leaving office, she served as Deputy Secretary of Education and Ambassador to Switzerland in the Clinton administration and started an international organization to help communities solve problems. With her activism and writing, including "The New Feminist Agenda," she fights for parity for women and better circumstances for families.Friends, family and former co-workers offer insights.
