Preview of clips from The Story of the Jews with Simon Schama. Noted historian, author and critic Simon Schama explores the Jewish experience from ancient times to the present day in this new five-part series.

Also clips from Tales from a Yiddish Theatre will be previewed.  A profile of Montreal's thriving Yiddish performing arts community, viewed through the activities of the city's Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre, which is helping to spur a renaissance in Yiddish culture.

This event is made possible by a partnership between Vermont PBS, Beth Jacob Synagogue and the Kellogg-Hubbard Library, It is free and open to the public.
