Chuck Bongiorno has joined Vermont Public Television, the statewide public television network, as major gifts director. The focus of his work is to raise leadership-level contributions to support VPT's programming and services. VPT receives most of its operating revenue from the local community.
Vermont Public Television is proud of President & CEO John King's induction into the Vermont Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame. King was inducted November 19, 2011, and joins an distinguished group of individuals who have demonstrated excellence throughout their careers, have enhanced the broadcasting industry and have contributed to the betterment of their communities. King joined VPT in 1987 and became President and CEO in 1998.
When Vermont Public Television held its fall fundraising campaign, people who gave to VPT also helped those suffering the effects of Tropical Storm Irene.
