Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission
The Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission was founded in 1966 to promote the mutual cooperation of its19 member municipalities and to facilitate the appropriate development and preservation of the physical and human resources in Chittenden County.

US Census Bureau
The U.S. Census counts every resident in the United States, and is required by the Constitution to take place every 10 years.The 2010 Census will help communities receive more than $400 billion in federal funds each year for things like:

• Hospitals
• Job training centers
• Schools
• Senior centers
• Bridges, tunnels and other-public works projects
• Emergency services

The U.S. Census Bureau is recruiting temporary, part-time census takers for the 2010 Census. These short-term jobs offer good pay, flexible hours, paid training, and reimbursement for authorized work-related expenses, such as mileage incurred while conducting census work. Best of all, census takers work right in their own communities.

Vermont League of Cities and Towns (VLCT)
VLCT is a membership association of all the cities and towns in Vermont governed by a 13 member board of local officials from around the state. We provide training and technical assistance to local officials, health, liability and workers' compensation insurance and advocacy on behalf of local governments at the state and federal levels of government.

University of Vermont Center for Rural Studies
The Center for Rural Studies is a nonprofit, fee-for-service research organization that addresses the social, economic, and resource-based challenges faced by rural people and communities.

United State Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics
The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is the principal fact-finding agency for the Federal Government in the broad field of labor economics and statistics.
