Got a Question?
Q. I've never used my credit card on the Internet before. How does it work? Is it safe? A. Vermont Public Television uses the best security and encryption technology available for your protection. The personal and financial information your computer send us, and that we send back to your computer, must be encrypted while in transit. Encrypted files are scrambled and can only be reassembled by someone who has the correct encryption key. This means that when you send your personal and financial information to Membership, it is encrypted so that no one but us can decipher it. Your credit card number is never stored unencrypted on our server, and it is only decrypted at the time of its use. Q. How long does it take to receive my membership thank you gift?
A. On average, you
will receive your thank you gift six to eight weeks after your pledge payment
is processed. If it has been longer than this, please contact us at memberservices@vpt.org
or call us at 802-654-3665.
Q. I just sent you my
renewal check. Why did I receive another renewal letter?
A. To save money
for the quality programming you expect from Vermont Public Television, we print
and send out renewal notices in bulk. This means that it takes several weeks
for a renewal letter to get to you. As a result, your renewal gift and letter
probably crossed in the mail.
Q. I still have three
months left on my membership. Why are you sending me a renewal notice now?
A. Because it's
so important that we keep our members, we start sending out renewal notices
in advance of your membership's expiration. If you renew early, you'll still
get a full year's membership: your membership will be extended for a full 12
months from your current expiration date.
Q. I forgot the expiration
date of my membership! How do I find it?
A. Your membership's
expiration date can be found in two places: on your MemberCard and on your program
guide, above your name and address.
Q. What does my VPT
Membership include?
A. When you join
VPT as a member you will receive various benefits depending on your level of
support. Click on the individual levels for the associated benefits.
Q. How do I get in touch
with Vermont Public Television?
