Poetry Out Loud

2015 Vermont Finals

Poetry Out Loud - the national poetry recitation competition - has ignited a passion for poetry among high school students across the country. Students are challenged to learn and bring to life an established poetic work, with one winner from each state going on to the national competition.

On March 19th, ten finalists from Vermont high schools brought their performances to the Vermont PBS studio for the state finals competition - and Vermont PBS provided a live webcast from our studio. Watch now these great works of poetry come to life and cheer on some talented Vermont students, and please share!
