Poetry Out Loud - the national poetry recitation competition - has ignited a passion for poetry among high school students across the country. Students are challenged to learn and bring to life an established poetic work, with one winner from each state going on to the national competition.

On March 20th, ten finalists from Vermont high schools will bring their performances to the VPT studio for the state finals competition - and Vermont Public Television will webcast the event live from our studio, beginning at 7 p.m.

See great works of poetry come to life and cheer on some talented Vermont students!
