Sean Buchanan lives in central Vermont but has spent his life traveling the country cooking a multitude of styles and learning about the diversity of food produced in the United States.
Sean trained under chefs in Colorado and Texas until he became the Executive Chef of the Middlebury Inn in Middlebury, VT. He now works with local farmers and various groups to help promote Vermont products and restaurants on the state and national level.
Sean feels the focus of Vermont cuisine is making what is in season unique for all to taste. He believes that promoting agriculture and tourism together can help maintain our farming roots and attract people every season throughout the year.
