An examination of the close relationship between Vermont and Canada, especially Quebec, focuses on life along the border and the trade of hard goods, energy and tourism. The program looks at life in the border towns of Derby Line, Vt., and Stanstead, Que.; exports and imports; and the importance of tourism, including the latest on the controversial issue of passports. A pre-taped documentary segment is followed by a live discussion. Panelists from Vermont and Quebec are in the VPT studio and linked by satellite from Newport, Vt. Viewer calls and emails are welcome. There will also be a live web chat.
