Catherine Hughes
Producer

Catherine Hughes has been an independent producer for VPT and others following a twenty year career as a radio and television journalist. Her work for VPT includes many magazine pieces for Points North, RFD and Outdoor Journal. She also produced two political documentaries for VPT - Vermont's Choice 2000 and 2002, one of which was nominated for a regional Emmy. Her independently produced "People's Guide to the VT Legislature" won an Emmy in 2002.

Joe Merone
Executive Producer

Joe Merone is Vermont Public Television's Senior Executive Producer in charge of local program production. Merone joined VPT in 1980 as a production technician, and over the years was promoted to positions of increasing responsibility. Since 1997, he has been executive producer of VPT’s public affairs programs, including “Vermont This Week,” “Public Square,” “Report From Montpelier,” “Report From Washington,” “Call the Governor” and election coverage. He is a graduate of Oswego State University and lives in South Burlington.

Stewart Ledbetter
Host

Stewart Ledbetter has been covering news in Vermont and The Champlain Valley for WPTZ-TV for over 20 years. He was the station's former news director, he is now chief political reporter. Stewart is the host and moderator of Vermont Public Television's "Vermont This Week" program. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont and lives in Winooski.
