  Points North #703

Vermont Cooking School
Points North pulls up a chair in the kitchen of Jane Kirby, a nationally known author and nutritionist and founder of The Vermont Cooking School. Kirby teaches small cooking classes in a range of topics, from eating for a healthy heart or eating for menopause to cooking healthy meals for a busy family on the go. Classes are held primarily in Kirby's comfortable kitchen -- part of a converted barn -- where students get to prepare -- and eat -- what they learn. In this delectable lesson, Jane Kirby cooks up some ideas for healthier holidays.

To study the characteristics of cold environments in order to make it easier to live and work in them. To learn more, check out their web site at www.crrel.usace.army.mil
