Essex Children's Choir

Since 1985, Vermont has been home to a premier children's choir. The Essex Children's Choir has performed in Europe and the U.S., to great acclaim. The children are not taught simply to sing, but to understand and appreciate music that goes far beyond "Mary Had a Little Lamb." Meet their dynamic director, Constance Price, three members of the choir and find out how the choir has changed their lives and what makes them sing!

Photographer Alden Pellet
Photographer Alden Pellet grew up loving the mountains. He hiked Camel's Hump with his father when he was just 4 years old. And on that trip, father and son snapped a few family photos. Hiking and photography became a winning combination, because today, Alden Pellet makes a living taking pictures from the mountains. Points North catches up with Alden as he -- and his camera -- dangle from the face of an ice wall.

Interview With Madeleine Kunin
Madeleine Kunin served Vermonters for nearly twenty years, first as a state representative, then as Lt. Governor, and finally as a three-year-term governor. In 1991 she chose not to run for reelection, but continued to have a very active career. After writing her memoir, President Clinton called on Kunin to be Deputy Secretary of Education, followed by an appointment to be US Ambassador to Switzerland. Now Governor Kunin is back in Vermont and is currently a Fellow in Residence at Mddlebury College. Fran Stoddard spoke with Kunin in her Burlington home about her future -- and the future of Vermont.
