Planning for College
Live with Viewer Call-in
Tues., March 22 at 8 pm
Help
with higher education is available from the Vermont
Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) on the next "Public Square"
program. Viewers will hear advice from VSAC staff on finding the college
or university that is right for them.
Host Rob Michalak will interview VSAC staff members about the resources
available to help Vermonters find the school that suits them and how to
prepare applications.
In addition, VSAC counselors will be in the VPT studio during the broadcast
so that viewers can call and speak privately with a representative. A
toll-free number will be announced during the broadcast.
VSAC was established by the Vermont Legislature in 1965 to help Vermonters
plan and pay for education beyond high school. This is the second VPT
broadcast with VSAC, following up on last fall's program about paying
for college.
"Planning for College: A VPT Public Square Special" will be
taped and repeated on Sat., March 26 at 9 am.
