Rural Free Delivery (RFD)
Produced in a magazine-style format, each weekly episode offers a glimpse of various aspects of rural life, usually with an appropriate seasonal slant. Some of the topics covered include: rug hooking, sugaring, cheesemaking, quilting, collecting wild edibles, building a stone wall, and working with sheep from lambing to spinning the wool. Vermont Public Radio commentator Willem Lange is a frequent visitor to the series, with stories about his personal encounters with the old ways.

This series is funded by a grant from USDA, Rural Development.
