This trip takes Dave and Alvin McLane north to the Sheldon National Wildlife Refuge. The refuge covers over 570,000 acres of Nevada and acts as home to a variety of species. Stretching across most of the northwestern corner of the state, Sheldon attracts lovers of wildlife, hunters, and, since the early 20th Century, opal miners.
