While people are focused on taxes on a national level, the idea of eliminating the personal income tax on the state level could affect the economic well being of voters just as significantly. Several states have eliminated the personal income tax and there are movements in several more to pass similar measures. What is the demonstrable economic benefit of eliminating the income tax and what are the downsides?
