Locavore Gardens and Landscapes

Episode Guide »
One of the most important trends of food and environmental security today is to eat local, eat seasonal and grow your own in an earth-friendly way. And while some people want to grow their own food on the land they have, they don't know how. Others know how but don't have the land to do it. Connections like this are being made all over the country, creating win-win partnerships that reach far beyond the plots where seasonal, organic gardens grow. From opposite sides of the country, we visit with groups doing this in a big way, and reaping the rewards of these symbiotic relationships through their journey.
