Episode Guide »
Having completed the basic under painting, Jerry can now start to shape the figure. This is done by adding the next layer of highlighting as well as using loose strokes to form shadow areas. Jerry continues to work throughout the painting adding highlights and shadows where appropriate. Having completed the basics, the background is mottled which is another step in the process to help refine and shape the figure. Please note complimentary colors are used in this process. The session is completed by repeating the layering and shaping of the hair and garments, adding highlights and shadows to continually refine the figure.
