Creating the musical landscape of tomorrow, Music City is home to Americana music, and contemporary American roots music that a genre that incorporates styles like country, rock, folk, bluegrass, R&B, gospel, Latin and blues, bringing new sounds to these proud traditions. In this special, explore the American musical melting pot, looking to the future while embracing the breadth and genius of American roots music from Emmylou Harris to Mumford and Sons, Rosanne Cash to the Avett Brothers, Dwight Yoakam to the Carolina Chocolate Drops.
