The events and issues in our world today remind us how valuable it is to bring together engaged citizens across the state for their perspective on important community issues.

For the fourth year, VPT hosted a series of community listening sessions in order to hear what's important to Vermonters. The information gathered at these sessions will be used to inform VPT's local programming and outreach decisions.

At each session, 15 – 20 community members and leaders came together to explore the following questions:

• What do you value about your community? (This could be your town or county.)
  
  
• What are the major challenges in your community?
  
  
• What potential impact could VPT have in making your community a better place to live? What themes, genres or topics of programming on VPT might help strengthen your community?
