VPT has expanded its Instructional Programming Service through the
addition of new programs from the Scholastic
ETV Consortium.
Click the links below to hop down this page for more information about:
This valuable new resource
for teachers and libraries is possible through the generous support
of our underwriting partners. |
Under a new five-year
agreement, VPT can now offer Vermont teachers and libraries access to broadcast
and duplication of over 80 high-quality instructional series (nearly 1,000
individual titles), as well as school rights for the duration of the lease.
The programs that constitute the basic library of the Consortium have been
proven through usage in classrooms around the country. Many have won awards
or are critically acclaimed as being both effective curriculum and entertaining
instructional material.
For a nominal fee, videotapes of full series may be ordered from VPT in VHS format. For your added convenience, VPT will be broadcasting select titles on Wednesdays & Thursdays from 2 - 3 am throughout the school year. These broadcasts can be taped and used free of charge for the duration of the contract. Check our program guide for broadcast schedules.
To see full program listings, descriptions and program previews for this great new service, go to the Scholastic ETV Consortium.

VPT will be able to provide teachers with the following benefits:

programming
- Online programming
support materials For video streaming preview clips, electronic
lesson plans and teacher guides, see the Scholastic ETV Consortium.

VPT is extremely
proud of our new underwriting partners on this project. We look forward
to working with them to make this project a successful new part of VPT's
Educational Outreach Service. For their generous support, we would like
to thank:
