4 Sites for Tweens
Building on PBS's successful slate of children's TV programs and kids online offerings, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) has created a new generation of safe, engaging and educational websites for 9 to 12 year olds — tweens.
    These 4 websites — Backyard Jungle · Plastic Fork Diaries · Don't Buy It · It's My Life — cover a variety of topics of interest to tweens, including art and design, the environment, food, media literacy, and dealing with real life issues. Kids, parents and educators can trust these sites to be safe havens where children can learn, share ideas and have fun.
