Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is where you pay a flat fee at the beginning of the season and, in exchange, receive a weekly, freshly-harvested, basket of produce from your local farm.
Benefits to joining a CSA:
You learn more about how food is grown and new ways to cook
You also get the satisfaction of supporting Vermont agriculture, since your membership is a source of much-needed financial security
And, best of all, kids typically favor food from “their” farm – even veggies.
