Cafe Scientifique: Emerging Contaminants

Emerging contaminants are a group of compounds that have recently been identified in wastewater, streams, and ground water but are not regulated. Some of these are known as endocrine disruptors (which are compounds that can interfere with the endocrine systems of animals, and so affect reproduction).
